Can Polla

It is, along with Aiamans Palace, one of the most representative buildings of the local civil architecture. It was built by the family Fuster de Can Polla, traders from Palma, during the second half of the nineteenth century. During its construction, the new urban planning scheme was not respected, since the facade excelled in more than one meter above the allowed dimensions. To solve this problem and do not affect such a emblematic building, the local council agreed to lower the maximum allowed dimension, benefiting other owners. It does not open to the public.
