The old passenger building of is on one level, with two roof slopes. The station was always small considering the large volume of goods generated by the region. Thus the station store, built in 1878, was amended in 1906 when the platform was extended. In 1946 was built a large porch. The station, originally, had a passenger building, warehouse, covered dock, coal cellar, garage, turntable and a water supply tower with a cast tank. With the reopening of the line in 2000, was enabled a new station, being the old one used for cultural facilities. At the time of collecting potatoes, the town generated a large volume of goods, to the point that the railroad dedicated a specific locomotive for these purposes to Son Bordils station. The train used to enter to the station through a siding, reaching the Agricultural Cooperative store of the town. This track was assembled in 1939 and dismantled in 1958. Sa Pobla was certainly a good example of the importance of freight railways in Mallorca. Proof of this would be the fact than more than 289,000 tons of cargo were transported in a single year (1946) along the 211 km of lines in service at the time.
