Palma Train Station The existence of the old walls of Palma greatly conditioned the construction of the railway complex. The military regulations prevented construct buildings near the fortifications in order to avoid a possible attack.
Pont d´Inca Train StationDuring the early days of the railway station “Pont d”Inca” was the destination of many travelers who wanted to try the experience of going by train. So Sunday and Monday special trains were organized.
Marratxí Train StationThe station building consists of two floors. While initially only had built a gatehouse with room for a small waiting room, a second floor to be used as housing stationmaster was added in 1875.
Steam TractionSince 1875 to 1965 steam locomotives circulated by the Majorcan railways.
Santa Maria Train StationThe station of Santa Maria had a turntable for locomotives. It allowed to change the travel direction of the locomotives that came and went through the line. Beside the turntable, there was also a water supply tower. On the platform was a standpipe that allowed carrying water from the general track.
Alaró and Consell Train StationThe Consell Station was the starting point of the Alaró’s line. For 54 years this line was linked with the Majorca Railways network.
Binissalem Train StationIn this station highlights the presence of a passenger building of two floors. During the early years of railroad service, were made several proposals to build industrial chargers, although many of them resulted just in single trials.
Lloseta Train StationIn Lloseta Station was a large platform for loading coal. In that area were especially important the coal mines “Dos Hermanos”.
Inca Train StationIn Inca Station was a passenger building, the home of the grooms, a warehouse and two garages, one for locomotives, and another one for cars and coaches.
“Enllaç” Train StationIn “Son Bordils” Station (Enllaç) Manacor and Sa Pobla railways are separated. The station has a very elegant building with two floors. Some time ago there were piggeries, a turntable for locomotives and many railways roads.
Diesel Wheel Many locomotives and diesel engine vehicles provided services along the history of railways in Majorca.
Sineu Train StationThe passenger building of Sineu was originally of one floor, but in 1924, Luis Garcia Ruiz projected its extension to three floors. This reform ended in 1926.
Petra Train StationRailway halt built in 2003 to mark the reopening of the railway line s”Enllaç – Manacor.
Manacor Train StationThe passenger building of Manacor Station is very different compared to the rest railway stations of Mallorca. It is divided into three sections, the central one with two floors, and the lateral ones with one floor.
Llubí Train StationAt the beginning, Llubí Station was expected to be a simple halt. Because of this, there was built just a small wooden hut to shelter the ticket dispenser. Quite soon, passenger building was built in 1879.
Muro Train StationMuro Station is compounded by a passenger building with two floors built in 1878, a warehouse, toilets and a former coach for shutter buses that connected the centre of the town with the station.
Sa Pobla Train StationThe current station of Sa Pobla was built in the year 2000, together with the reopening of the railway line. It is located about 400 meters from the old station as the stretch of railway line that penetrated into the town was dismantled.
